1. Clients are encouraged to get up and move every half hour on the day of the session. Moving will help the body to align itself.
  2. WALK: A gentle exercise such as walking is recommended.
  3. WATER: Drink plenty of water for the next few days.
  4. WAIT: Allow time for the session to work. Try and refrain from any other bodywork for about five days. Bowenwork can take up to ten days to be fully integrated.
  5. Occasionally people experience a strong response to Bowenwork. Symptoms typically subside within 24-48 hours. It is important to walk, drink water and wait during this period!
  6. Do not apply ice or heat to an inflamed area.
