About Me

My name is Nupur Tenne, I am an occupational therapist and a certified Bowenwork practitioner. I strive to promote healing and wellness in all aspects of my clients’ lives, including work, play and activities of daily living. I incorporate principles of postural alignment, body mechanics, ergonomics, environmental adaptations, activity modifications, manual therapy techniques and individualized exercise programs to improve people's overall function and quality of life.

I got my Bachelors in Occupational Therapy degree in 1995 from the University of Zimbabwe. I practiced Occupational Therapy in Zimbabwe and then in Florida where I worked with adults and children in various settings. I completed an Advanced Masters in Occupational Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo graduating in 2002. Since then I have worked at In-patient Rehabilitation and Acute Care Departments in Hospitals, Home Health, a Sensory Motor Therapy Center for Adults and Children, as well as Skilled Nursing Facilities. Additionally, I am a certified Bowenwork practitioner, and have a keen interest in the healing power of Bowenwork.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, I love to cook, read, go camping, hiking and listening to music.
